The Dinder Film Club meets every third Friday of the month, between September and April. 

 

We aim to show a 'rich mix' of films - some well known, others less familiar.   Blockbusters occasionally, but more often art house movies, films from the independent sector, European films, and a few older classics.

Our next screening will be on Friday 16th October, when we'll be showing In Bruges, a black comedy crime thriller, starring Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson, Ralph Fiennes and Ciaran Hinds.  

 

After a job gone wrong, a hitman and his partner (Farrell and Gleeson) are ordered by their ruthless boss (Fiennes) to go and cool their heels as tourists in the storybook Flemish city of Bruges.   One is enchanted by the beauty and historic peace of the medieval city, the other absolutely detests it.   But then their surreal holiday takes a dangerous turn…  

 

The film won several awards, but was most recognised for the chemistry between Farrell and Gleeson, and its sharp dialogue and dark humour.

 

​Tickets are £5 on the door.   Doors open at 7pm, the film starts at 7.30pm, and the bar stays open throughout the evening.
